In the third and fourth screen shots, after having run around the level fighting the soul drudge, I have decided that I need to end this and quickly kill the soul drudge. I pull out the sniper rifle and aim for the left arm. BLAM!! A spray of blood and now our lowly soul drudge is resting in peace in a bloody pool, all thanks to Blood 2's limb loss system.

Our last screen shot shows a little of the mayhem that has occurred after the death of the soul drudge. Pulling out the mighty chain gun, I have shredded the soul drudge's corpses, leaving behind bloody meat chunks and a wasted mind.

The soul drudge is one of the more simple and common AIs I am working on at the moment but he helps show the various features such as hit location, dynamic pain/death animations, limb loss, and various accompanying gore effects such as pools of blood and gibs. There are sure to be many more creatures with better intelligence, tactics, and strategies that will have you crying yourself to sleep every night.
