Texture Mapping
When it comes to applying the textures to the models, Eric and Kevin do their magic and paint up the textures. We usually use PhotoShop to do the textures, but any program will work. I think Kevin still uses DPaint! =)

Once the texture is created, we bring it into Softimage and use their nifty little paint tool.

By converting the texture map to use UV coordinates, we can select individual polygons or groups of polygons and then move them around and place them onto the texture in the right place.

We're also able to use the paint tool to paint directly onto the model to layout an initial texture. Then the layout of the texture can be brought into PhotoShop and painted up all pretty.
