As you can see, there are lots of modification possibilities here. I think that we want to make a real kick-ass new weapon, so we'll change the model, hand-held model, and ammo info. Let's make it fire shotgun shells, 20 vectors per shot, and leave it semi-auto. As for the model, they normally require artistic abilities to create, but since I'm an engineer I'll borrow one of our existing game objects and use it. Ah, here's one..

Ah, that's satisfying. If I had time I'd add a nice animation and flush sound when firing. One thing to keep in mind is that bad guys can carry the same weapons that you do, so if you modify an existing one they'll get the mods too. Hey buddy, watch where you point that thing!

Well, we've run out of space, but this just barely scratches the surface of what will be possible with Blood 2 & other LithTech games, so keep an eye out for them!
